Incarna: The Official Magazine

We’ve been producing EON magazine for more than five years now, concentrating for the most part on spaceships and the people who fly them. Later this year, as Incarna throws the doors open on an entirely new EVE dimension, the emphasis will switch to “faceships”. To celebrate this evolution we will be publishing the official Incarna magazine.

Although we’re still deciding on specific content, we plan to offer in-depth guides on all the exciting Incarna feature that we all are looking forward to. We’ll explain how to walk forwards without banging into walls, reveal the mechanics of turning around and highlight advanced manoeuvres such as how to come back the way you originally came. We’ll have developer previews on post-Incarna features such as sitting down, walking a little faster (but not running) and opening doors. We’ll also be profiling all the skillbooks you need to pull off these incredible new in-game feats.

Mindful of the community and the hundreds of EVE celebrities lining up to stretch their legs, we’ll be taking a look inside the Captain’s Quarters of the rich and famous – rifling through The Mittani’s sock drawer and Sir Molle’s fridge – assuming we have the capability to open them, of course.

Finally, in line with EON’s famous Testflight articles, our chief fashion model will be suggesting all the best fits; from the best pants to wear with that Top Gun jacket, and which shades go with those Fedo fur-lined boots you had specially made in Jita by a bunch of EVE University drop-outs.

As a special bonus, if you are among the first 1000 people to pre-order the magazine, you will receive a special code to activate a pair of in-game EVE socks for your avatar. Subscribers will also receive a free-in-game version of the ISK 3.0 guide to EVE, that you can place on the table in your Captain’s Quarters and walk past, again and again and again, unable to open it because your fingers don’t work.

More details regarding availability will be revealed soon. Maybe.

  3. The worst part is, both the devblog and this have elements that could be considered viable… i cant tell if they are entirely AFD jokes or just part of them.
